Job summary

Sysco Allentown is seeking a Slotting Coordinator to manage warehouse slotting, balance space utilization and ensure accurate product placement for efficient delivery. You will coordinate incoming merchandise, prepare slot-change memos, enter updates into SWMS/SUS and other systems, and help prevent mispicks while maximizing cubic footage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 18+ and pre-employment screening.
• 3+ years of experience in Warehouse/Distribution Services preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively; familiarity with inventory control methods.

Responsibilities

• Determine warehouse placement of all incoming merchandise and slot before receipt.
• Plan and prepare drafts of warehouse racking expansion to maximize space.
• Enter slot changes into the inventory tracking system to keep product locations accurate.
• Move products to optimize space and reduce mispicks/misdirects.
• Identify like items to prevent mispicks and ensure accurate picking and delivery.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and equipment operation rules are followed.
