Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Environmental Planning/Siting (GIS) Specialist for our Cincinnati, OH office to support siting and routing studies for energy projects in the Midwest. You will gather background data, create maps, and analyze spatial and tabular information to inform plans and permit applications.

The role requires 3+ years of ArcGIS experience, a related bachelor’s degree, strong technical writing, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban or environmental planning or related field.
• 3+ years experience conducting siting and routing studies.
• 3+ years experience with ESRI ArcGIS platform.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and lead siting and routing studies in Ohio and surrounding states.
• Gather background data, prepare siting maps, participate in meetings, and document findings.
• Liaise with governmental agencies, clients, and team members.
• Support state filing requirements and public utility applications.
• Utilize ArcGIS to manage data for ecological and environmental permits.
