Job summary
WSP is seeking a Lead Environmental Planner/Senior Siting Specialist for opportunities across Cincinnati and surrounding Ohio regions. You will plan and lead siting studies for energy projects, prepare reports, and liaise with agencies and clients.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in siting, strong technical writing, and familiarity with PJM/MISO. Travel for site visits and public meetings is expected; WSP offers comprehensive benefits and diverse project exposure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Geology.
- 5+ years of siting and routing experience.
- Familiarity with PJM, MISO or regional transmission boards.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and lead siting and routing studies for energy projects in OH and nearby states.
- Prepare siting reports and defend conclusions to clients and agencies.
- Liaise with government agencies, clients, and team members.
- Provide guidance on state filing requirements and public utility applications writing.
