Job summary

Vale Matcha in Seattle is seeking a Strategic Site Placement & Real Estate Development Associate to build and qualify the pipeline of potential locations, develop broker and landlord relationships, and organize findings for leadership review.

This hands-on role focuses on sourcing opportunities, touring sites, and coordinating with operations, finance, design, construction, and legal teams as sites advance toward national expansion based on performance.

Qualifications

• One to five years in sales development, business development, commercial real estate, brokerage, restaurant development, or similar.
• Strong outbound prospecting, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Resourceful, persistent, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong written, verbal, research, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with CRM, spreadsheets, mapping tools, and presentation software.
• Interest in restaurant expansion and commercial real estate.
• Willingness to spend significant time visiting neighborhoods and prospective sites.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source on-market and off-market locations in priority trade areas.
• Build relationships with brokers, landlords, developers, and property managers.
• Conduct outbound outreach and follow up on opportunities.
• Tour neighborhoods and sites to evaluate visibility, access, traffic, and fit.
• Gather site details: rent, expenses, floor plans, utilities, delivery conditions, availability.
• Research demographics, nearby employers, residents, competition, and demand.
• Perform preliminary due diligence on zoning, signage, utilities, and restaurant infrastructure.
• Prepare concise site summaries and recommendations for leadership.
• Maintain pipeline records and coordinate with teams as sites advance.
