Job summary

Vale Matcha is seeking a Director of Real Estate to lead market expansion and new-location strategy in a rapidly growing matcha concept. You will identify high-potential sites, evaluate financial viability, and guide lease negotiations from research through execution.

The role requires evaluating diverse venues, negotiating favorable terms, and coordinating with legal, operations, finance, construction, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful location performance.

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing locations and negotiating commercial leases.
• Strong understanding of restaurant occupancy costs and site-performance drivers.
• Ability to interpret letters of intent, leases, site plans, demographics, and financial projections.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-management, and project-management skills; comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop market and site-selection strategy aligned with growth plans.
• Identify and evaluate potential locations across diverse venues.
• Build relationships with landlords, developers, brokers, and property managers.
• Analyze trade areas, foot traffic, visibility, access, and competition to inform site choices.
• Prepare financial analyses and site recommendations for leadership.
