Job summary

Siegfried is seeking a Director of Engineering & Maintenance to lead site engineering, maintenance, and facilities across our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. You will drive CAPEX projects, improve performance, and develop a high-performing engineering organization as part of the Site Leadership Team.

This leadership role requires deep expertise in aseptic manufacturing, GMP compliance, and capital project delivery, with a focus on reliability, innovation, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• 15+ years engineering experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• 7+ years leading engineering, maintenance, and facilities teams.
• 5+ years GMP experience, aseptic processes and clean utilities.
• Demonstrated ownership of CAPEX and maintenance budgets > $3M.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute mid/long term engineering strategy aligned with site goals.
• Lead major CAPEX projects from concept through execution.
• Establish governance to track and improve performance.
• Oversee Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Automation, and Calibration teams.
• Drive aseptic operations, clean utilities, and GMP compliance.
• Support facility expansions and equipment acquisitions.
• Lead technical evaluations and implementation of manufacturing technologies.
• Manage budgets including CAPEX and maintenance > $3M.
