Job summary

CSL seeks an Associate Director, Site Engagement Lead to develop and execute a cross-functional site engagement approach for clinical programs in a hybrid US environment. The role interfaces with Clinical Development, Trial Management, Site Management, Feasibility and Medical Affairs to ensure site perspectives shape study decisions and execution.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related health/scientific discipline (PhD/MD/PharmD preferred).
• 10+ years of clinical research/clinical operations, site engagement, or related experience, including global development.
• Experience in sponsor or CRO environments, across geographies and cultures.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills to translate qualitative/quantitative data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; willingness to travel up to ~30%.
• Experience with Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the engagement strategy for assigned programs and studies.
• Lead a cross-functional Engagement Team and align stakeholders on priorities and outcomes.
• Create proactive engagement plans across the full study lifecycle from feasibility to close-out.
• Advocate for site perspectives in CSL decision-making and translate feedback into actions.
• Identify risks and opportunities early and challenge assumptions to improve feasibility and site experience.
• Coordinate site engagement across CSL functions for a seamless study journey.
• Build strong relationships with investigators and partner sites to support delivery.
• Drive improvements to reduce site burden, improve quality, timelines, and cost.
