Job summary

Corient is seeking a Settlement & Recon Specialist II to monitor and settle securities orders, review trade confirmations, and ensure accurate record-keeping in custody and portfolio systems. You’ll work with brokers and custodians to maintain high straight-through processing and address settlement discrepancies.

Ideal candidates bring experience in order management, tax-lot relief checks, and strong confidentiality with client data.

Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce, portfolio and order management software.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, and discretion.

Responsibilities

Monitor executed equity and fixed income orders for accuracy and straight-through processing.
Review trade confirms and reports to resolve issues and avoid failed trades.
Collaborate with third-party settlement software for affirmation and settlement of trades.
Perform quality control on tax-lot relief and cost basis in custody/portfolio systems.
Report cash deficiencies and failed trades to traders and client service teams promptly.
