Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking a Service Learning Events & Promotions Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of Service Learning & Civic Engagement (SLCE) programs. Bachelor's degree in a related field or 8 years of directly related full-time experience.
Proven ability to coordinate events, promotions, and outreach effectively.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the planning and implementation of SLCE events and initiatives, including logistics, volunteers, outreach, communications, and administrative needs.
Coordinate marketing and design efforts for SLCE initiatives with university marketing teams.
Partner with SLCE colleagues to translate goals into effective event, marketing, and design support.
Plan and assist with events, workshops, meetings, and trainings, including volunteer recruitment, promotions, and space reservations.
Assist with budget management and office purchasing; serve as a point of contact for community partners.
