Job summary

Maxcess in the United States is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage a portfolio of commodity suppliers and implement a comprehensive strategic supply strategy reported to the Executive Leadership Team.

The role leads supplier selection, engagement, development, and ensures fair RFQ and negotiations, while guiding purchasing of production and non-production materials across locations and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• APICS or ISM certification a plus.
• Epicor experience or similar ERP required.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Problem solving and prevention skills required.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of commodity suppliers and implements a strategic supply strategy.
• Leads supplier selection, engagement, and development initiatives.
• Ensures fair supplier engagement processes (RFQ, negotiations).
• Provides supply chain guidance to all locations purchasing the commodity products.
• Procures production and non-production materials, tooling, and capital equipment.
