Job summary

AMFEMS is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to supervise the day-to-day accounting operations and provide financial information to the Controller. The role includes managing A/P, A/R, GL maintenance, reconciliations, payroll, and month-end close, with oversight of accounting staff.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of accounting experience, with strong management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Management experience strongly preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end close.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain general ledger, reconcile accounts and bank statements.
• Support budgeting and financial reporting with Controller.
