Job summary

Sempra is seeking an experienced professional to lead key legal support operations within the Law Department, focusing on securities law and corporate governance execution and coordination. The role works with two attorneys on the Corporate and Securities team and interfaces with cross‑functional stakeholders to enhance governance processes.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience preferred.
• Experience in securities filings and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversees significant securities filings (proxy statements, Section 16 filings, EDGAR Next) and manages related calendars, plans, and third‑party coordination.
• Leads planning and coordination of annual shareholder meetings and shareholder engagement activities, including outreach and tracking metrics.
• Coordinates with Corporate Secretary’s Office on board‑related matters (materials, minutes, independence reviews) and serves as secretary for select committees.
• Maintains governance for template libraries with version control and annotations.
