Job summary

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in industrial automation sales, and willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international). Excellent communication and strategic selling skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; BSEE strongly preferred.
Minimum 5+ years selling industrial automation components (VFD, PLC, HMI, motors, servo systems).
Willingness to travel ~50% (domestic and international).
Experience building high‑level customer relationships and uncovering decision makers.
Strong initiative, results orientation, and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

Identify and engage new top-tier customer segments, establishing relationships at commercial and engineering levels.
Operate as the primary contact for assigned accounts, from daily operations to executive discussions and penetrate top-tier targets.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer product roadmaps to uncover future opportunities.
Partner cross‑functionally with product management to promote new industrial automation technologies and applications.
Secure sales revenue growth (minimum 5% YoY) while developing new opportunities in target industries.
Ensure on-time delivery of customer solutions while meeting business objectives.
