Job summary

Mars is seeking a Senior Sales Finance Manager in the United States to lead planning, forecasting, and governance of investments in Trade and Displays. You will partner with Sales, SRM, and Controllership to drive insights, digitalization, and cross-functional processes.

You will support Regional Grocery East and Route-to-Market sub-channels with expansion to Total Grocery, leveraging advanced Excel and BI tools to deliver actionable analytics and executive-ready narratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA preferred
• CPA preferred
• 7+ years of related experience in FMCG
• Experience in a matrix organization preferred
• Experience in Demand Finance and Strong Business Acumen, including knowledge of US market and Retail landscape
• Solid foundation in financial concepts, modeling, scenario planning, and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to right-size messaging to different levels across the organization
• A drive for results by demonstrating appropriate urgency and persistence in delivering financial outcomes, ensuring commitments are met while balancing long- and short-term priorities
• Curiosity to identify and ability to break down complex business challenges, leverage data-driven analysis, and develop innovative solutions that create value for customers and the business
• Accountability through setting clear expectations, taking ownership of results, and fostering a culture of responsibility across teams and stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate within and across teams by building strong partnerships to influence outcomes through trust and transparency, as well as actively contributing to a team-first culture

Responsibilities

• Lead periodic financial reviews for multiple sales teams across channels
• Provide performance insights and support trade-offs and forecasting
• Collaborate with Channel Finance leads on narratives and reporting
• Own quarterly reviews of Trade and D&E investments with insights
• Support digital agenda and tools enhancement for better analytics
• Transform trade spend analytics and data quality improvements
• Act as Centre of Excellence for Trade and D&E Governance
• Support audits and ad-hoc requests
