Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead safety and health programs at the Livingston facility in California. You will develop, implement, and enforce policies, conduct incident investigations, and guide corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

You will mentor supervisors, analyze safety data, perform audits, and deliver trainings to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in safety or related field; ASP or CSP preferred.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in health and safety programs and environmental programs.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA, Fed/OSHA and UFC rules and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English reading/writing required; bilingual preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and health and safety information systems.
• Ability to work varying shifts and stand on production floor.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures and conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Mentor supervisors, team members, and management to develop a positive safety culture.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production and FSQA teams.
• Maintain and analyze safety data to identify trends and develop action plans; deliver reports to management and guide safety committees.
• Perform safety audits and inspections; track findings and ensure closure of corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver EHS trainings and programs to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist and monitor environmental programs including Air Quality, Pesticide, Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste, and Water programs.
