Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Program Manager for the Safe Patient Handling and Mobility program. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across inpatient and ambulatory settings to promote safe patient movement and reduce injuries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 3 years of experience in safe patient handling and mobility.
• Experience in an acute care hospital or similar setting.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of patient mobility equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Program across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Directly supervise program staff, staffing, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee education, competency development, and job aids for safe patient handling.
• Manage equipment lifecycle, budgeting, and contracts; monitor vendor performance.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track safety, quality, and operational metrics.
• Partner with Nursing, Rehabilitation Services, Occupational Health, and Supply Chain to drive improvement.
