Job summary

Holley Performance Brands is seeking a strategic Commodity Buyer for Rubber & Plastics to lead sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management. This role shapes long‑term supply strategy, optimizes total cost of ownership, and ensures a stable supply base for our performance product portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in strategic procurement, strong cost modeling skills, and experience with rubber and plastic commodities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of strategic procurement, commodity management or sourcing experience.
• Experience in Rubber & Plastic commodities strongly preferred.
• Proven success in complex negotiations and supplier management.
• Strong analytical capability including cost modeling and market analysis.
• ERP systems and Microsoft Office proficiency; sourcing tools a plus.
• Exceptional communication and project management skills.
• APICS/ISM or other supply chain certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic commodity strategy for Rubber & Plastics.
• Determine preferred supplier partners and manage the full supplier lifecycle.
• Lead all commercial negotiations, including pricing, LTAs, service levels, and terms.
• Consolidate spend across Holley brands to leverage volume and reduce cost.
• Mitigate tariff exposure and manage risk with near‑shore and global options.
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and industry indices for sourcing decisions.
• Own cost modeling, supplier quoting, benchmarking, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers aligned with sourcing strategy.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in quality, delivery, cost.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Support new product launches with timely sourcing and supplier alignment.
• Develop sourcing docs, dashboards, and strategic analyses.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices.
