Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior candidate to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while strengthening control environments across the Consumer Governance and Enablement function. You will partner with business leaders to deliver sustainable, risk-based solutions and drive process simplification.

The role focuses on risk identification, control testing, remediation, and governance across regulatory reviews, audits, and ongoing control improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in risk management, controls, audit, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks and control design, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Experience with root cause analysis and control design/assessment.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and process improvement experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Executive presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads assessment of risk and control design to support governance and enablement.
• Monitors and tests controls; identifies issues and improvements for remediation.
• Leads the implementation of optimized controls and QA practices to support continuity.
• Provides oversight to QA reviews and ensures timely execution of activities.
• Manages responses for regulatory exams, audits, and monitoring reviews.
• Ensures data accuracy for inspection metrics and dashboards reporting.
• Drives risk escalation and coordination with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit.
