Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced Compliance leader to implement, execute and maintain the enterprise Compliance Program across its entities. You will collaborate with Risk Operations, monitor audits, training, and regulatory changes to ensure adherence to federal and state laws, including HIPAA and privacy requirements.

The role requires strong integrity, ability to advise senior management, and leadership of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years in compliance or privacy functions in healthcare
• 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Preferred: 7 years in compliance or privacy fields
• HIPAA/privacy knowledge or training is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provides thought leadership and advises business leaders on risk, compliance, privacy and security
• Develops and maintains an effective compliance and risk management program across entities
• Gathers data, prepares reports for senior management and Board of Directors
• Tracks and reports risk operations activities using standard metrics
• Responds to non-compliance with recommendations and action plans with legal support
• Liaises with regulators and coordinates regulatory communications
