Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a senior Compliance professional responsible for implementing, executing and maintaining the Compliance Program across entities, auditing and enforcing policies, and ensuring privacy and HIPAA compliance. Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance, privacy, government affairs, healthcare operations, risk, audit, or legal functions
• 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Healthcare compliance or privacy experience preferred
• CPA, CIA, CFE, CHC, CCEP certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides thought leadership and acts as advisor to business leaders on risk and compliance
• Implements and maintains an effective compliance program and risk management
• Gathers data and prepares reports for senior management and Board of Directors
• Responds to non-compliance incidents with risk-based action plans
• Liaises with regulators and ensures education and training initiatives
• Maintains knowledge of regulatory, security, and privacy landscapes
• Supports enterprise-wide governance and audit activities
