Job summary

NiSource is hiring a Senior Strategy & Risk Consultant to join the Strategy and Risk team. The role supports regulatory strategy, risk, and insurance programs through econometric and analytical methods and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The position includes conducting analyses, building financial models in Excel, and presenting findings to senior leadership. A 3 days/week hybrid schedule is available in Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience using Excel to analyze data.
• Experience applying economic, statistics, and econometric concepts/methods.
• 4–6 years (Minimum of two years) of relevant experience in corporate strategy, risk, or related fields.
• Proven experience in leading projects and solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Performs analyses for strategy, risk and insurance programs and builds Excel models.
• Prepares materials for the Risk Management Committee and Strategy Council.
• Develops scenarios and strategic frameworks to drive alignment across teams.
• Creates high-impact PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership.
• Drives execution by coordinating cross-functional teams and tracking deliverables.
