Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Strategic Analytics Associate within Credit Risk Management in Wilmington, DE. You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure performance goals for the cards business are met, leveraging analytics and data mining.

You will lead end-to-end initiatives, define problems, secure stakeholder buy-in, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership. A strong quantitative background and 1+ year analytics experience are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, OR)
• Minimum 1+ years of analytics experience
• Ability to structure analyses and present findings clearly
• Experience with SAS, SQL, Python or Tableau (or similar tools)

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive analytics to measure and challenge key business initiatives and be able to independently generate solutions
• Provide thought leadership and lead initiatives end to end, including defining problem statements, identifying risks and opportunities, securing stakeholder buy-in, and bringing ideas to life
• Work independently and with various teams to identify and assess performance trends, utilizing statistical and data mining tools and quantitative methodologies
• Conduct root cause analysis to provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Prepare and present detailed risk monitoring reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Support the development and maintenance of the company’s risk management framework, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Monitor internal and external behavioral data and industry/regulatory trends to improve risk management processes
