Job summary

Gila Regional Medical Center is seeking a Revenue Cycle Director to lead the end-to-end revenue cycle, including AR, billing, and cash management. The role focuses on strengthening financial performance, cross-department collaboration, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality patient services.

The director will oversee staff development, audits, and vendor programs, driving continuous improvement in revenue cycle processes and patient billing experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, health or public administration, management, or a related field.
• Masters in hospital or business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate the facility’s values into all staff development practices and activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and prepare year-end audits related to AR operations.
• Directly manage all service programs and external vendor programs.
• Monitor and support daily staff functions across the revenue cycle and related areas.
• Maintain internal control safeguards over AR records and cash collection; ensure compliance with billings.
• Develop innovative programs to improve customer satisfaction and implement patient-friendly billing guidelines.
• Oversee the financial interface between patient financial services and fiscal services.
• Communicate regularly with staff and leadership regarding business operations.
