Job summary

Nationwide in Philadelphia is seeking a Financial Planner to support Registered Representatives and Investment Advisor Representatives by producing needs assessments and financial plans, in writing, to drive a consistent sales process/client experience and assist in identifying additional cross-sell opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, FINRA licenses 6/63/65 or 7/66, and a Certified Financial Planner designation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance required.
• CFP designation and FINRA licenses required.
• Two years of financial services planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers and sales reps on retirement income plan development.
• Prepare financial plans and needs-based assessments in writing.
• Create alternatives and recommendations for client plans.
• Partner with Sales to manage open proposals and drive outcomes.
• Develop and conduct producer training in office and field.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and actions.
