Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking an Associate, Planner to drive sales, margin and inventory productivity through strategic financial planning and cross-functional collaboration with Buying and Allocation.

You will analyze historical trends, develop seasonal plans, monitor aging inventory, and present financial plans to leadership, partnering with stakeholders to optimize performance across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-5+ years of planning/financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical and retail math skills.
• Proficient in Excel and able to learn applications quickly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical business trends to understand drivers and risk; work with stakeholders to take action.
• Support pre-season planning: set up files and align with Buying on strategies.
• Develop seasonal sales, margin and inventory plans with manager.
• React to in-season trends with pricing, markdowns and flow adjustments.
• Present financial plans, forecasts and results to leadership.
