Job summary

The position leads security teams, coordinates with IT and research staff, and reports to senior management. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required, with travel and driving as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of relevant experience, including three or more years of supervisory experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• University experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for research programs.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT and research teams to integrate security protocols.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Monitor incidents, investigations, and response efforts.
• Provide training and awareness programs on security best practices.
• Prepare reports on incidents, risks, and compliance for senior management.
• Develop relationships with law enforcement and security agencies.
