UMass Chan Research seeks a Senior Program Manager of Research Strategy to provide high-level program management, analytics, and communications support to the EVCR/CRO and the Office of UMass Chan Research.

The role coordinates initiatives across research and administrative units, translates priorities into actionable plans, and promotes alignment of enterprise priorities with senior leadership. It also leads development of research communications and maintains digital content across platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in higher education, academic medicine, health care, or a similarly complex environment.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong writing and editing skills for senior leadership communications.
• Experience creating and maintaining digital content platforms.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-level program management and coordination for the EVCR/CRO and UMass Chan Research.
• Translate priorities into actionable plans with timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings, briefings, presentations, and talking points for senior leadership.
• Gather and synthesize information to support planning and decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams across research, finance, legal, operations, and IT.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Health, Health Care Administration, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field

7+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in higher education, academic medicine, health care, research, nonprofit, or a similarly complex environment

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience developing executive-level reports, presentations, and briefing materials
