UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Manager of Research Operations within Academic Affairs to support Basic Science and Center Administrators, acting as a liaison for the Office of the Provost. You will drive operational excellence and ensure continuity of research operations aligned with institutional priorities.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years in an academic health system with 1–2 years in management; Master’s degree is preferred.

Competenze

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree; 5 years of progressive experience in an academic health system or hospital, including at least 1–2 years in a management role.
• Equivalent related experience may be used in lieu of degree.
• Master’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.

• Drive operational excellence, service consistency, and compliance with the Director of Research Operations.
• Ensure continuity of research operations within assigned departments by assessing needs and implementing solutions.
• Oversee special projects impacting the research community and align with institutional goals.
• Plan and organize research events and coordinate logistics with faculty and administrative partners.
• Identify operational quality issues, analyze data, and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Supervise operational staff and provide mentorship and oversight.
• Develop and deliver operational reports and analyses for leadership decisions.
