The Department of Medicine at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School is seeking an Associate Chair of Research (ACR). Qualified candidates hold an MD or DO, board certification, and a proven record of securing NIH‑funded research, plus strong mentoring and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree; board certified.
• Strong track record of research productivity, including NIH peer‑reviewed funding.
• Proven experience collaborating with and developing multiple members of a clinical research department, including grant writing.
• Experience mentoring junior faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students in academic activities.
• Academic rank commensurate with experience.
