Job summary

The University of Utah Health Research Office seeks a Research Development Associate to coordinate and support a portfolio of research development activities across the HSRO Research Program Development Team.

The role includes day-to-day management of a designated strategic initiative, assisting with grant proposals, workshops, and events, and strengthening operating systems to keep work moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
• This is a Developing-Level position in the General Professional track.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Research Initiative Coordination: coordinate operations of designated initiatives, develop work plans, schedules, deliverables, and progress updates.
• Coordinate proposals: organize kickoff sessions, timelines, task assignments, document-control, and internal reviews.
• Support events: plan symposia, seminars, networking sessions, and stakeholder meetings; develop announcements and materials.
