Job summary

Solar Landscape, headquartered in Asbury Park, NJ, is seeking a Project Development Analyst to support strategic initiatives within Operations. This cross‑functional role offers hands-on experience in renewable energy project delivery, data analysis, and process improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience, collaborate with project managers, engineering, finance, and external stakeholders, and turn data into actionable insights while helping keep projects on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics, environmental studies, or related field.
• Experience in business operations, energy, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking; ability to turn data into insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and track progress on cross-functional projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with broader strategic goals.
• Conduct research on zoning, permitting requirements, environmental factors, and land-use restrictions
• Coordinate with stakeholders across teams to maintain project documentation and follow-up
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, delays, or inefficiencies in project processes
• Help document standard operating procedures and suggest improvements to increase project throughput and team productivity
• Create regular updates to senior leadership on project statuses, bottlenecks, and risks
• Partner with engineering, legal, and finance teams to align project requirements and risk assessments
• Facilitate the flow of information across teams to keep development milestones on track
• Assist in the coordination and execution of key strategic initiatives across Operations
• Support the Project Development team in preparing presentations, reports, and materials for executive decision-making.
