Job summary

Natixis NY Branch is recruiting for an Associate in the Insurance and Financial Sponsor Coverage group. The role focuses on deepening client relationships with North American insurance and financial sponsor clients, coordinating with Senior Bankers, product groups, and global teams to deliver tailored financial solutions.

You will oversee coverage activities for a portfolio of key clients, participate in client calls, draft memos, and assist in onboarding and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of investment banking, corporate banking, or financial services experience.
• Prior exposure to financial institutions, insurance companies, or financial sponsors is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication in English; ability to present to senior leaders.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with financial data providers is preferred.
• Licensing: SIE, Series 79, Series 63 licenses desirable or to be obtained within standard grace periods.

Responsibilities

• Pitch preparation with Senior Bankers and product partners to create client-facing materials.
• Develop sector intelligence and understand client needs for product capability delivery.
• Engage with clients, analyze needs, and draft comprehensive call reports.
• Identify and flag potential transaction and origination opportunities.
• Coordinate onboarding and ensure compliance with legal and product teams.
• Draft Front Office memos and participate in transaction review and execution.
• Coordinate annual reviews and credit committee processes with Risk and product partners.
• Prepare deal tombstones and materials for global sector calls.
