Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5-7+ years of accounting experience; residential construction or homebuilding experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and construction accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting functions including GL, AP, Fixed Assets, job cost, inventory, revenue recognition, and JV accounting.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting, statements, and analysis for all divisions.
• Develop and maintain regional financial reporting, planning, and budgeting systems.
• Ensure policies and procedures are documented and followed.
• Provide guidance on revenue recognition, intercompany billings, and asset additions.
• Provide variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements; support month-end/quarter-end work.
• Maintain internal controls and segregation of duties; oversee regional travel quarterly.
