Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking an Executive Regional Director to oversee portfolios spanning 100+ locations. You will guide Regional Managers, drive strategic growth, and ensure performance aligns with company values, policies, and compliance.

You will drive budgeting, capital planning, HR/compliance collaboration, and use analytics for executive decisions. Mentor leaders, partner with owners to set long-term goals, improve NOI, and lead organizational alignment with profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of management experience within industry.
• Expert level knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 affordable housing programs and compliance.
• Skilled in budget planning with a large portfolio and proven ability to lead and mentor team members.
• Strong communication, financial, leadership and negotiation skills required.
• In-depth knowledge of property management practices within multi-family including proficiency in property management software (OneSite or Real Page).
• Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Experience in file management, facilities management, and overseeing property operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth and ensure organization is aligned with company values and compliant with agencies.
• Lead regional managers, set direction and priorities for regions.
• Oversee budgeting and capital planning across portfolios.
• Collaborate with HR, Compliance, and Executive leadership on policies and training.
• Use performance analytics for executive decision making.
• Communicate goals clearly and keep employees engaged with company objectives.
• Review and implement strategic changes to increase efficiency, profitability, and operations.
• Partner with owners and stakeholders to identify long-term goals and objectives.
• Monitor properties against financial objectives and improve NOI with regional managers.
• Manage annual budget processes with Regional Manager Team.
• Coordinate departments during new property setups and kickoff meetings.
• Collaborate with Development/Construction on new projects and coordinate with VP of Operations.
• Build relationships with state agencies and implement policy updates as needed.
• Work with Compliance to ensure SOPs meet IRS and state guidelines.
• Mentor regional managers and oversee recruitment and performance management.
• Roll out SOPs to the field and assume other responsibilities as directed.
