Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the recruitment process from intake through offer acceptance.
• Consult with hiring managers to establish criteria and align on timelines.
• Create and implement recruiting strategies based on position and market.
• Develop job postings and social content to attract candidates and enhance the brand.
• Review applications, screen candidates and recommend hires.
• Coordinate interviews and assist with questions and evaluation materials.
• Participate in interviews with managers and key stakeholders.
• Partner with managers during the offer process to document compensation and start dates.
• Support background checks and other pre-employment steps as needed.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Represent Horace Mann at career fairs and recruiting events, promoting DEI.
