Job summary

HSBC in New York invites an Analyst, Recovery & Resolution Planning, to help develop and maintain the firm’s Recovery and Resolution Plans in line with U.S. regulatory requirements.

You will partner with risk, finance, treasury, legal, and operations to ensure robust preparedness for periods of financial stress. The role requires strong quantitative abilities, knowledge of enterprise risk management, and experience in regulatory examinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or related field.
• Experience in recovery and resolution planning within a large financial institution or consulting firm.
• Strong quantitative capability in liquidity modelling and stress testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of Recovery and Resolution Plans.
• Collect and report information from risk, finance, treasury, legal, operations, and compliance teams.
• Prepare MI for Treasury and governance forums.
• Support recovery and resolution testing, simulations, and scenario analyses.
• Coordinate with regulators during examinations.
