Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Analyst for Recovery and Resolution Planning in New York. The role focuses on development, maintenance, governance, and execution readiness of the firm’s Recovery and Resolution Planning framework to meet US regulatory expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the US regulatory environment for large financial institutions, enterprise risk management, and complex organizational structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
• Experience in recovery and resolution planning or enterprise risk management.
• Strong quantitative capability in liquidity cashflow modelling and stress testing.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations and interactions with US banking regulators.
• Experience in Recovery and Resolution Planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, enhancement, and maintenance of the firm’s Recovery and Resolution Plans per US regulatory requirements.
• Collect, interpret, and report information from risk, finance, treasury, legal, operations, tech, and compliance teams.
• Analyze critical operations, core business lines, legal entity structures and interdependencies.
• Produce audit-ready MI for Treasury and governance forums.
• Support testing, simulations, and scenario analyses for recovery planning.
