Job summary

CBRE Transaction Manager in Cleveland, OH is part of a high-performing corporate real estate team, handling long-term outsourced partnerships and delivering portfolio strategy, optimization and transaction services. The role involves land/building transactions, leases, and build-to-suit projects to support client needs.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating day-to-day activities, and negotiating terms with landlords and tenants, while tracking financial analyses and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience; real estate salesperson license required.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; set schedules and deadlines.
• Implement real estate plans aligned with client goals and priorities.
• Act as landlord/seller agent and tenant/buyer agent to negotiate terms.
• Coordinate sales negotiations and lease renewals; monitor expirations.
• Locate and acquire new properties to meet client requirements.
• Review, evaluate, and interpret financial analysis templates.
• Track transaction and project activity; prepare reports for clients.
• Maintain a real estate project tracking system; ensure timely completion.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE values.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day issues.
