Job summary

IRWA seeks a Senior Real Estate Manager to negotiate acquisitions and services for public utilities and infrastructure. You will coordinate with real estate agents, engineers, attorneys, and contractors to support CIP, expansion, and property inquiries.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in real estate acquisition/disposition, with strong MS Office and Adobe Acrobat skills. Valid driver’s license and IRWA certifications are expected within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Education equivalency with related experience.
• Minimum five years of technical real estate acquisition/disposition experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing projects, budgets, procurement and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manages right of way, easement, real property acquisition and disposition functions.
• Produces and reviews contracts for legal sufficiency and minimizes exposures.
• Negotiates real estate agreements with individuals, utilities, jurisdictions, and agencies.
• Calculates land area, reviews appraisals, and prepares cost estimates.
• Advises engineers on real estate and property issues affecting plans and costs.
• Audits and maintains the real estate database and generates reports.
