Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager to lead a portfolio of construction and renovation initiatives from concept to completion. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure quality standards across projects.

Responsibilities include translating planning requests into engineering objectives, reporting progress to stakeholders, and overseeing cost tracking and performance metrics. Office-based with occasional travel and on-site presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with employees, customers and suppliers.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction cost estimating.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial planning to implementation, managing operational details and securing stakeholder alignment.
• Apply project management methodologies to deliver projects on schedule, within budget and in line with Spectrum's quality standards.
• Communicate updates to internal customers, collect feedback and report on project progress.
• Oversee data collection, cost tracking, performance metrics and service levels to meet project objectives.
• Provide SME for structural, electrical and mechanical issues, supporting other real estate functions.
• Develop strategic approaches to contracted workforces, manage budgets and capital development, and translate planning requests into engineering objectives.
• Write funding documents, manage accounting codes, supervise vendors and consultants, enforce contract terms and oversee zoning and permitting processes.
• Escalation point for warranty issues and support continuous improvement across all assigned projects.
