Evonik is seeking a senior procurement professional responsible for sourcing a defined set of raw materials in North America, developing strategies with stakeholders, and managing spend and supplier relationships. You will lead negotiations, balance interests of partners, implement long-term improvement plans, and travel to supplier sites and events.

A degree is required; MBA preferred; 10+ years in procurement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
• MBA or equivalent financial experience preferred.
• More than 10 years procurement or related commercial experience.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of strategic sourcing and purchasing.
