Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company seeks a Marketing Pursuit Director to lead priority pursuits across markets and service lines, partnering with firm leaders, seller/doers, project leaders, and technical teams to develop differentiated pursuit strategies that win opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in professional services marketing or pursuit management, with strong facilitation and client messaging skills and the ability to translate client priorities into compelling win strategies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in professional services marketing or pursuit management.
• Experience leading complex, high-value pursuits from strategy to proposal development and interview.
• Strong understanding of capture planning, pursuit strategy, proposal development, client positioning, and competitive intelligence.
• Proven ability to coach technical professionals and project leaders on persuasive communication, storytelling, proposal strategy, and interview performance.
• Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic pursuit planning for priority opportunities across markets and service lines.
• Facilitate pursuit strategy workshops, kickoff meetings, and strategic reviews to align teams around client priorities and pursuit objectives.
• Develop and direct messaging strategies for major proposals, qualifications, interviews, and other client-facing opportunities.
• Coach marketing and technical staff on persuasive communication, storytelling, presentation strategy, and client-focused messaging.
• Lead and advance best practices for pursuit planning, messaging development, strategic reviews, and pursuit execution.
