Job summary

Big Ass Fans, a leader in high-volume, low-speed fans, is seeking a Purchasing Manager in Lexington, KY. You will orchestrate the flow of goods from suppliers through warehouses and the final delivery, driving efficiency and cost savings across the supply chain.

You’ll lead a team, manage inventory, and partner with sales and operations to meet the SIOP plan while leveraging data analytics to anticipate needs and prevent bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
• 3+ years minimum experience preferred.
• Proven success leading and managing in a supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, lead times and fulfillment rates.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
• Manage the fully supply chain lifecycle from PO entry to final delivery.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to align with SIOP plan.
• Use data analytics to forecast supply needs and prevent bottlenecks.
• Lead purchasing functions and contribute to process improvements.
