Forest River, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to manage direct and indirect material for a busy manufacturing operation in Indiana. You will coordinate inbound supply, optimize inventory levels, and work with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

The role requires strong Excel skills, analytical ability, and excellent communication. Experience in supply chain and manufacturing environments is preferred. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Related field experience preferred.
• Understanding of Supply Chain configuration and principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, computer skills & preparing spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Procure and manage direct and indirect material for manufacturing.
• Schedule inbound supply chain to support plant inventory objectives.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries to minimize freight costs while sustaining high inventory turnover.
• Ensure 100% material availability for manufacturing and communicate with suppliers.
• Governs procurement from PO submission to receipt and maintain PO costs and integrity.
• Administer supplier quality accountability via non-conformance reporting system and negotiate credits.
• Monitor supplier on-time delivery and elevate issues affecting production.
• Maintain accurate physical vs perpetual inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Adjust safety stocks to facilitate product availability while minimizing inventory.
• Identify situations requiring engineering change requests (BOM changes, item definition changes).
