Responsibilities

• Identify sources for products/services to support customer requests in a timely manner.
• Make purchasing decisions based on customer need, market conditions, product specifications, supplier strategy, regulations, and business policy.
• Negotiate cost and terms with suppliers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by proactively contacting customers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and report purchasing results and productivity metrics.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide feedback on supplier performance.
• Support gross profit goals by negotiating costs, lead times, freight terms and quantities.
• Maintain supplier relationships and explore new suppliers.
• Coordinate with HQ abroad (Korea) regarding imported items.
• Support team members on product and source inquiries.
