Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Toledo, Oregon, is seeking a Manager, Purchasing and Stores to lead the Toledo purchasing team and oversee storeroom operations at our containerboard facility. The role combines strategic and tactical purchasing with inventory stewardship to optimize total cost of ownership for operations.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience and a track record of creating value through relationships with a diverse group of customers, with a principled entrepreneurial mindset

Qualifications

• Three years of purchasing management experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated experience in driving procurement transformation.
• Willing and able to travel 10% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct reports and build a high-performing team.
• Manage containerboard spend and procurement operations at the Toledo facility.
• Align with SS&P vision and plant operations to optimize sourcing.
• Drive standard work and disciplined procurement processes.
• Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
