Calqulate Metrics Ltd. is seeking a Purchasing Agent in Omaha, NE to ensure timely procurement of materials, components, equipment, and services. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Sourcing to maintain cost-effective, high-quality supply chain performance.

The role requires 2–3 years in purchasing, strong negotiation and communication skills, and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

• 2–3 years of purchasing, procurement, or related experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Create and manage purchase orders and procurement records in SAP.
• Monitor delivery schedules with key suppliers and critical deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and expedite deliveries as needed.
• Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues in partnership with internal teams.
• Approve invoice pricing and quantities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and set stocking levels.
• Procure goods and services to meet internal and external customer sales order expectations.
• Prepare and execute purchase orders in SAP.
• Follows up on delivery schedules with key suppliers and critical deliveries.
• Maintain procurement records to control costs and inventory levels.
• Discuss non-conforming goods with QC and vendors to facilitate corrective action.
• Approve quantity and pricing for invoices.
• Work with subcontractors for outside services.
• Expedite delivery of goods and services to users/customers.
• Escalate delivery issues to appropriate departments.
