Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Fenestration is seeking a Buyer to oversee the entire purchasing process for selected vendors within the ERP system, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely orders and optimal supplier performance.

The role requires 3+ years in purchasing, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. You will analyze sales and inventory data to drive weekly MRP orders, manage vendor pricing, and support demand planning while ensuring on-time delivery and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a purchasing related role.
• Experience with sourcing, vendor qualification, and vendor auditing.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end to end purchasing process for a selection of vendors.
• Analyze and interpret sales and inventory parameters to generate weekly orders in MRP.
• Review forecast data against actual sales to recommend changes to demand planning.
• Negotiate, review, and enter vendor pricing and communicate changes to management.
• Oversee the process for direct-to-customer shipments, including invoicing and tracking.
