Job summary

Holiday Builders is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead pricing decisions for homes within division(s) and ensure pricing from Trade Partners is negotiated and recorded. You will oversee purchase orders and budgets, aligning with national accounts and recommending vendors to the VP of Purchasing.

The role requires strong analytical and negotiation skills in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on conformance to standards and efficient procurement processes across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related area.
• Minimum 4-6 years directly related experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ERP purchasing applications and Microsoft Office.
• Possess problem solving and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet overall objectives for purchasing at the corporate level and align with the purchasing strategy.
• Manage the costs of labor and materials within the Region.
• Review plans, new community and model decisions, presentation plans, and website information.
• Manage merchandising of showcase homes.
• Facilitate organization change to support purchasing department.
• Adhere to operating procedure for all purchasing and ensure compliance and integrity.
