Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to lead procurement for electromechanical components and materials, coordinating with Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure timely, cost-effective supply. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience purchasing electromechanical components and materials.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management and procurement practices.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and drawing interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee purchasing activities for plastics, metals, and electronic components; ensure timely PO processing and documentation.
• Supervise the purchasing team; establish processes and monitor performance to support production goals.
• Develop supplier relationships; negotiate pricing and terms; manage supplier risk and scorecards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and other teams to ensure material availability.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives; analyze market data and maintain purchasing reports.
